Better than a box, this set of scripture cards comes nestled in a rare and beautiful vintage Wedgwood jasperware green lidded box. Wedgwood is perhaps most notable for its Jasperware, a fine grained, unglazed stoneware introduced in 1775. True to Wedgwood's trademark style, this piece is adorned with hand carved white silhouette classic Greek mythology scenes on the top of the lid and around the base. The scalloped edges complemented by a garland of oak leaves and acorns make this a lovely piece for any room. Measures approximately 5" in diameter and 2 1/4" high with lid.
